Vision and missions
Vision:
The effective and efficient application of the principles of an integrated solid waste management contributes to tangible and sustainable protection of public health, water resources, soil, air and climate in the MENA region.
Mission:
SWEEP-Net promotes the development and implementation of integrated solid waste management through:
- Stimulating and facilitating exchange and sharing of information, experiences, and knowledge using an intelligent mix of communication means.
- Allowing its members to share information and knowledge and support each other’s work through its information and communication systems and tools.
- Providing advocacy and policy support for sustainable and integrated solid waste management
- Facilitating and promoting the successful application of policies, planning tools, financing mechanisms, and technologies that are environmental sound, social acceptable economical viable.
