Regional Working Group: Public Awareness, Education and Community Participation for SWM
Introduction
Public education campaigns using the media, advertisements and communication methods can contribute to the efforts to decrease the burden of solid waste. Since different countries have different levels of experience in this field, the exchange of experiences through working group discussions will help all parties achieve the desired outcomes. Representatives from NGOs and environmental specialists have joined this working group.
