Country Profiles
In early 2010, the SWEEP-Net secretariat has made a regional assessment and gathered information on SWM in the MENA region. Country reports and country profiles were prepared with the support of national and regional consultants and in close cooperation with the ministries and agencies in charge of the SWM sector.
The objective was twofold and consisting of:
- gathering relevant information and data on SWM development and evolution in the beneficiary;
- investigating opportunities to set-up the national network as part of the regional network.
